This is a movie of journey of a man hailing from a village in Morena, near Gwalior in MP. The portrayal, the journey as well as the set up is too realistic. The cinematography, BGM are all top notch. All characters are brilliantly written & acted. Leading lady Medha Shankar is absolutely brilliant with proper emotions. But the movie has the biggest star in form of Vikrant Massey. He lives the character. Be it the scenes of helplessness in village or in Delhi, he’s too good. The scenes in Flour mill are too emotional & brilliantly enacted. There’s no preachiness yet strikes the right notes. Vidhu Vinod Chopra you have created a masterpiece. This one is your best work ever including Parinda & easily the best movie this year & probably of last 2/3 years.

The film is not just a chronicle of one man`s journey but a celebration of everyone who dared to look at failures as an opportunity to #Restart.

This is a movie for the people. This is how movie should be made. I didn’t for once feel any discomforting cringe while watching a Bollywood movies. 90% of Bollywood movies are cringe movies with pridictable plots and unnecessary songs and fight scenes in the middle of the movie. This movie inspires a generation of people around the world. This movie deserve to win Oscars for foreign language category. The cast of the movie are also perfect. The acting is also candid and effortless. The acting done by actors doesn’t feel like acting. I pray to god that this monstrous Bollywood industry doesn’t do anything bad to these actors like they did to the Shushant Singh Rajput.

This movie had a great story which is based on true events. The makers could have driven the story to motivate people in a great way to pursue their dreams for becoming an IAS officer or IPS officer but what they have shown in most of the movie is the romance the main act is involved in, their ups and downs. The director tried to portray the movie more from the romantic side of the protagonist. The music is good, especially the Restart song is very motivational if you want to motivate yourself. Also the daily struggles of the aspirants of the IAS exam could have been shown more vigorously but instead they showed non essential things.
