Meta Smart Glasses- Today everything in this world is based on Technologies from mobile phones to laptops and even cameras with the increase in demand of these things, people tend to be bored with it after few years, we as a human beings are never satisfied with what we have and want a more easy, better and lazy ways to do things. Back in the days, we invented computers and then made an more easy and advanced technologies to make our life easier like mobile phones and kept on inventing more simpler stuffs. such as the ability to make phone calls, send messages, and hear message readouts using your voice via Messenger, and use voice commands to control media playing on your glasses (Available in English).
Now at present, we also got tired of taking out our mobile phones from our pockets and made an alternative that made our daily life more simpler to capture videos and audios the ability to make phone calls, send messages, and hear message readouts using your voice via Messenger, and use voice commands to control media playing on your glasses (Available in English) without even feeling a need to use our hands to take out our phone from the pockets and that is possible only due to the new invention of Meta Platform, ”The Meta Smart Glasses”.
Meta Smart Glasses-Since last year’s launch, we’ve added the ability to make phone calls, send messages, and hear message readouts using your voice via Messenger, and use voice commands to control media playing on your glasses (Available in English).
Ray-Ban Stories are available in 20 variations, in classic Ray-Ban styles — Wayfarer, Wayfarer Large, Round and Meteor — and five colors with a range of lenses including clear, sun, transition and prescription, so you can choose the style that’s right for you.
As glasses, they’re surprisingly comfortable. The layout is designed to appear as though you have more options, though, with multiple sharing formats (story, reel, or post) for each app. Thankfully, it’s not quite a walled garden—a generic share button lets you upload to other apps you have installed, such as sending a clip via Signal or posting an image to Bluesky.
The Wayfarer pair I’ve been testing—a “shiny black” model frame with dark green-tinged shades—felt slightly tight at first, but that was likely in contrast to my regular spectacles. Once accustomed to the different heft and grip—my usual glasses are 22 grams, while Meta’s Wayfarers weigh in at 50 grams, but that’s only 5 grams more than standard Wayfarers—they were cozy enough for longer periods of wear.
Taking a photo is as simple as tapping the button on the top of the right-side arm, while long-pressing starts video recording, with all media imported to the Meta View app to review. This can either be done manually through the app while wearing the frames, or else happens automatically when they’re closed and charging in the case.
Still, the voice controls that are included work pretty well, and at least expand beyond just commanding the glasses to capture media. You can start a phone call, connect with people on WhatsApp, or dictate messages, all with a “Hey Meta …”, and with surprising accuracy, too. That five-mic array picks up audio clearly even when outdoors and walking down busy streets, or on windy days, and they always selected the contact I intended.
Those factors combine for a puzzling return to questions of social etiquette when wearing smart glasses, and I’m not sure what the answers are. The only thing certain is that, in my experience, people really didn’t like being around them as it may arise a lot of serious concerns and many of the countries have banned them too explaining that it was a thread to the security and privacy of everyone.
