pollution becomes a major risk to life.

These days a major problem of air, water and land pollution has started to arise in different parts of the world causing many people to get sick and face unintended consequences.

Pollution:

Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the nature causing different types of issues to both the nature as well as to the animals. When the waste products are releases in the air in the form of smoke,It destroy the quality of air. Thus, it is called air pollution.

So, as a result people are compelled to risk their lives and suffer from different kinds of deadly diseases by drinking this water.

Rising air pollution can cut life expectancy by more than five years per person in South Asia, one of the world’s most polluted regions, according to a report published on Tuesday which flagged the growing burden of hazardous air on health.

Reducing global levels of lung-damaging airborne particles, known as PM 2.5, to levels recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) could raise average life expectancy by 2.3 years, or a combined 17.8 billion life years, the report said.

Having exposure to air pollution was equivalent to being a decade older, according to the authors of the study in Belgium. At the same time, reduced exposure decreased patients’ hospitalization time by 40%–80%—as much as some of the best available treatments.

Poor air quality impacts health. Fine particle pollution from wildfire smoke can irritate eyes, nose, and throat, and cause coughing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, or fatigue. Smoke particles are small enough that they can be breathed deeply into lungs and enter the bloodstream. This can lead to illnesses such as bronchitis or aggravate existing chronic heart and lung diseases, triggering heart palpitations, asthma attacks, heart attacks, and strokes.

On Ozone Action Days, young children, older adults, and those with respiratory problems, such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis are especially vulnerable to the effects of air pollution and should limit outdoor activities. Those who have asthma or difficulty breathing are strongly encouraged to stay indoors.

“The less gasoline we burn, the better we’re doing to reduce air pollution and harmful effects of climate change,”. “Make good choices about transportation. When you can, walk, ride a bike, or take public transportation. For driving, choose a car that gets better miles per gallon of gas, or choose an electric car.” You can also investigate your power provider options—you may be able to request that your electricity be supplied by wind or solar. Buying your food locally cuts down on the fossil fuels burned in trucking or flying food in from across the country. And most important, “Support leaders who push for clean air and water and responsible steps on climate change.

Similarly, When the waste products are released in water, it is called water pollution. The Bagmati river is a good example of water pollution.

In Kathmandu, there is shortage of water but whenever the people get water, they get clean water but these days, the water is seen to be yellowish in color. The people are making government aware about this situation but the government does not seems to be listening to their problems neither trying to help them.

Talking about the history of Bagmati, Bagmati river was not like this as it is right now. Many years ago people used to pray in Bagmati river. It was one of the cleanest rivers of Nepal. But over the few years, the people decided to throw waste in the river so it has become polluted.

Likewise, when the wastes are dumped into the land, it is called land pollution.

So in order to prevent ourselves and our loved ones from different kinds of diseases, do not burn plastics and manage wastages properly.
